🎚Wallpaper: Samson and the Lion

Samson and the Lion (Jud 14:5-6)Please download and share!! 1280 x 960

“Samson went down to Timnah together with his father and mother. As they approached the vineyards of Timnah, suddenly a young lion came roaring toward him. The Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon him so that he tore the lion apart with his bare hands as he might have torn a young goat. But he told neither his father nor his mother what he had done.” (Jud 14:5-6 NIV)

Samson demonstrated the power of God with one of the Earth’s mightiest beasts, the Lion. Tearing him and defeating him with his God given strength. We can awe at mighty heroes of today – how they can fly through the air, sling web from their hands, or wield a mighty shield with enhanced strength. The same Spirit of the Lord, which gave Samson supernatural strength is just as powerful, if not more, when we walk in peace. Are merciful. Forgive friend and foe. Live a life of love. Strongly believe. Resist sin and evil. Are gentle. Render kindness. Are not bitter when oppressed. Or unfaithful to those God has around us or given to us (spouses, parents, children, friends, neighbors, and coworkers.) It’s of that fruit that God’s proof of His Almighty providence is manifested before all men. (Gal 5:19-22)

This picture was given to me from God, through scripture, and rendered with computer graphics many years ago. Inspired to post it again from the 2018 Netflix Movie: Samson
